Edgewood Yacht Club
Upon completion of working with AQF, Nick Richardson, head architect for the residential and cultural architecture group, Donald Richardson AIA & Associates, concluded, "The fact that you shared an interest in both business and engineering shows an edge where most people tend to diverge."
Aquidneck Fabrication completed a 3D model of the firm's Edgewood Yacht Club, used as headquarters for the Brown University Sailing Team. Before construction, Nick was looking for a visual representation of the building that his clients could interact with. Aquidneck Fabrication was perfectly suited to meet that need.
Especially useful for an architectural firm is Aquidneck Fabrication's ability to include surrounding land and topography in the model. The Edgewood Yacht Club lays on both land and water and having a larger, more inclusive model was critical to bringing the project to life.
Ultimately, Aquidneck Fabrication is designed to create architectural models for firms that want to establish a close connection with their clientele. No matter matter how detailed or extensive a model might be, Aquidneck Fabrication, "Works well, hand and hand to get things done perfectly and is willing to learn new technologies to reach a solution."
